In this project, we were tasked in coming up with a design of a compact listening booth based on our music genre. The compact listening booth has to include the concept based on the activity and body language of the listener of the music, as well as mechanisms that is able to make the booth compact when not in use; like
hinges,
folding,
sliding,
nesting, and etc.
For my design of the compact booth, the concept was derived from the dance styles and movement when listening to Punk rock music. These are
pogo,
moshing and
skanking. The idea behind the shape of the compact booth is based on the keywords of wild/rough and movement

The mechanisms used for the compact booth are hinges, nesting, folding, sliding and assembling.
