DESIGN COMMUNICATION SEMESTER 1: ASSIGNMENT 3: SKETCHNOTE

For this assignment, we were given a task to translate a comedy movie into a sketchnote. A sketchnote is a form of note-taking using images rather than words, highlighting key points. I've chosen the movie, "The Grand Budapest Hotel", and illustrated the key points of the story in simple illustration and texts using the 6 elements in a sketchnote; namely letterings, bullets, frames, connectors, shadows and peeps.

DESIGN COMMUNICATION SEMESTER 1: ASSIGNMENT 2: DETAILED DRAWING

This assignment's goal is to accustomise us to the illustration of details found on what we see around us. For this particular assignment, I did a close up of a watch, and the different tone and details of the watch face are done using different grades of pencils, with a single hatching technique.
